Job Title: Material Handler - 3 Month Contract
Location: Visalia, CA
Pay Range: $18.50/hr
What’s the Job?
- Load, unload, and move materials using forklifts, narrow aisle machines, and other warehouse equipment.
- Prepare and process materials for shipment, including hazardous items, ensuring compliance with shipping regulations.
- Receive, audit, and store incoming materials accurately using scanners and computer systems.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, conduct location audits, and document all material movements.
- Assist with training new employees and support team leads in troubleshooting warehouse systems.
- High school diploma, GED, or HSED required.
- Minimum of 1 year of warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
- Knowledge of basic shipping regulations and hazardous materials handling.
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts and scanners.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Competitive pay at $18.50/hour.
