- Assign staff to repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools.
- Supervise routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines and building systems run efficiently.
- Assign inspection and testing of machinery to diagnose malfunctions.
- Review type and cost of maintenance or repair work for accuracy and efficiency.
- Oversee dismantling and reassembly of devices using hoists, cranes, and tools.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 8–10 years of maintenance experience in mechanical or facilities systems.
- Strong knowledge of machines, tools, and repair techniques.
- Leadership and mentoring skills with ability to provide constructive feedback.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
