What’s the Job?
- Drive engineering changes and ensure designs meet quality procedures.
- Schedule and allocate resources across approved projects for next-generation product development.
- Lead technical problem-solving and root cause analysis in thermal and environmental management.
- Coordinate activities across complex sub-system teams, including electrical, software, firmware, and reliability.
- Lead continuous improvement, design optimization efforts, and create procedural synergies across multiple sites.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in designing and developing complex instrumentation; experience in medical devices preferred.
- Expertise in thermal management, environmental engineering, and thermal hardware (thermoelectric devices, heaters, cooled compartments, sensors).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (NX preferred), PLM systems, and knowledge of manufacturing methods (plastic injection molding, sheet metal, machining, etc.).
- Strong communication, leadership, and project management skills; experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies a plus.
