HVACR Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the retail and facilities management industry, is seeking an HVAC/R Technician to join their team. As an HVAC/R Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mobile HVAC/R Technician

Location: Cleveland, OH

Pay: $37-$40/hr.

What's the Job?

• Operate, inspect, and maintain HVAC, refrigeration, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and production equipment in assigned facilities.
• Ensure equipment is maintained in an energy-efficient and safe manner, minimizing downtime through proactive repairs and record-keeping.
• Perform inspections and repairs on interior and exterior property areas, including walls, flooring, fixtures, roofing, and lighting systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair facility equipment across HVAC and refrigeration systems, demonstrating technical expertise and multi-skilled capabilities.
• Utilize CMMS systems such as Corrigo to document work performed and update work order statuses in real time.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Universal CFC recovery certification (or within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC/R, plumbing, electrical, and equipment maintenance.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining commercial or supermarket refrigeration systems.
• Valid state driver’s license and willingness to perform call-in work as needed.
• Ability to study and familiarize oneself with various equipment and operational methods.
