Field Service Technicians

Manpower has partnered with a global organization that manufactures a variety of metal fabrication equipment including laser cutting systems, press brakes, shears and powdered metal presses.Our client is seeking a Field Service Representative (CNC/LASERS) to join their local team.

As a Field Service Representative, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing advanced metal fabrication machinery across the U.S. The ideal candidate will have strong technical aptitude, hands-on mechanical experience, and a customer-first mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Field Service Representative

Location: Kansas City, MO (Home-Based, High Travel)

Pay Rate Range: Competitive – $30-40/hr Based on Experience

What’s the Job?

-Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair CNC and laser metal fabrication equipment

• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment operates safely and efficiently

• Diagnose issues across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Complete machine service work and prepare documentation for invoicing

• Develop and support preventative maintenance schedules with customers

• Manage company equipment and expenses effectively

• Deliver exceptional customer service while working independently in field environments

What’s Needed?

-Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems

• Proven diagnostic and technical troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

• Willingness and ability to travel overnight 75% of the time

• Strong communication skills with a customer-service focus

• Solid PC skills and strong organizational abilities

• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physically active work (bending, climbing, kneeling, etc.)
