As an Electrical Engineer , you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting large-scale electrical distribution projects. Job Title: Electrical Engineer
Location: Portage, MI
Pay Range: $42/hr-$44/hr
Shift: M-F 1st shift 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM
What's the Job?
- Design, develop, and test the manufacture of electrical equipment, including machinery controls, wiring, and lighting systems.
- Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability, and safety of various design models.
- Estimate project timelines and costs to ensure timely completion.
- Simulate and test the operation of machines, structures, and systems to optimize performance.
- Investigate and test products from vendors and competitors to maintain industry standards and innovation.
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering.
- Ability to create sketches, engineering drawings, and perform common computations.
- Strong understanding of electrical theory and its application to engineering projects.
- Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering.
