What’s the Job?
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to design and control machines for the paper industry, including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
- Review product designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, and customer specifications.
- Develop and prepare drawings, documentation, part records, bills of material, and instruction manuals.
- Coordinate engineering and order-related issues with customers and internal teams to maintain schedules and budgets.
- Perform automation/controls engineering design for reliability, safety, and cost, including risk assessments.
- Associates Degree in Electromechanical Design or equivalent.
- Experience with AutoCAD E or COMOS preferred.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally occasionally.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
