Job Title: Associate Scientist
Location: Trumbull, CT
Pay Range: $25/hour
What’s the Job?
- Develop experimental designs and work plans for prototype formulations to meet performance targets.
- Review laboratory data, perform preliminary interpretation, draw conclusions, and propose next steps in the development plan.
- Collaborate closely with Packaging, Process Development, and Manufacturing teams during development and commercialization stages.
- Maintain accurate lab notebooks, record experimental data/observations, and ensure documentation meets legal and quality standards.
- Plan project tasks including lab experiments, third-party testing, and consumer trials; provide timely updates to the team and management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related scientific field.
- 1–3 years of laboratory experience in product development, formulation, or analytical testing (preferred).
- Ability to perform standard and non-standard chemical, physical, and application tests.
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills; ability to develop or modify test procedures.
- Knowledge of safe laboratory practices and compliance with Federal, State, and Local safety/environmental regulations.
- Full-time, 40 hrs/week (1st shift: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM).
