Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Life Science Legal Contracts Specialist to support our client in a contracting needs within the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sector. The ideal candidate has strong experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating agreements common in life sciences, ensuring compliance with regulatory, legal, and corporate requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including CDAs/NDAs, MSAs, SOWs, licensing agreements, research collaborations, vendor contracts, and clinical trial–related documents.
- Ensure contracts align with applicable laws, industry standards, and internal policies.
- Identify legal and business risks and propose practical mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with scientific, operational, procurement, finance, and executive teams to support contract needs.
- Maintain contract templates, tracking systems, and documentation for audits and compliance.
- Provide clear guidance on contractual rights, obligations, and risk areas.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required; JD or paralegal certification preferred.
- 3 years of experience in life sciences contracting or a related legal field.
- Strong understanding of biotech/pharma industry terms, regulations, and contract structures.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently in a part-time, fast-paced environment.
Compensation Hourly: $40-60/HR
