As Plant Manager, you will serve as the pivotal force driving leadership excellence within the organization. You will be responsible for managing all activities within a single plant, including production, quality, logistics, technical service, HSE, and maintenance, while contributing to and executing functional and business strategy.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and articulate a compelling vision for the organization, aligning it with long-term strategic goals.
- Formulate and implement comprehensive business plans that ensure sustainable growth and competitive advantage.
- Understand and execute functional strategies across all PSOs.
- Cultivate a leadership pipeline by identifying, nurturing, and developing high-potential individuals within the organization.
- Implement robust leadership training programs to enhance managerial skills, foster innovation, and create a culture of continuous learning.
- Shape, reinforce, and role model a positive organizational culture aligned with company values, including diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks, ensuring robust risk management practices.
- Foster a culture of compliance and ethical behavior at all levels.
- Establish the operations budget, approve investments, and monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, implementing and sustaining production fundamentals to achieve benchmark results in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and inventory.
- Sustain and implement a quality management system by developing and enforcing local quality assurance strategies and procedures.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Technology, Business, or equivalent experience required.
- Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
Experience:
- 10 years of previous experience as a plant manager in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
- Strong experience with continuous improvement concepts (Lean, Pull Flow).
- SAP experience is required.
- Strong background in risk management and production fundamentals.
- Experience managing cross-functional projects and driving strategic initiatives.
- Knowledge of TS 16949, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
