Supervisory Responsibilities
This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate of $17.00.

Job Description
The Handyperson is expected to work independently to complete interior and exterior repairs and maintenance to all University buildings.
Supervisory Responsibilities
- None.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance to all Campus buildings
- Respond to work orders assigned by work order system and by verbal communication
- Assist other handy people and tradespeople with work related tasks when requested
- Painting as needed
- Assist in office moves as needed
- Perform other related duties as may be assigned within the Facilities Department’s scope of work
- Familiarity with hand and power tools
- Must be willing to occasionally work evenings and weekends in emergency situations and for various special events
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Should be organized and able to handle multiple tasks
- Must have a valid NYS driver license
- Ability to safely use common power tools
- Ability to perform basic repairs and maintenance
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have two (2) years of general handyperson experience
- Must be able to lift to 80 pounds and over routinely
- Prolonged periods of physical labor
