Responsibilities:
As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for:
- Providing operational and maintenance support for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
- Performing general maintenance for residential units and the rest of the building, such as:
- Painting
- Drywall Repair
- Carpentry Work
- Light Bulb Replacements
- Plumbing
- Equipment Repair
- Maintaining the proficiency of fire, life, health, and safety systems.
- Delivering 5-star service to residents, guests, and fellow team members.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
If you:
- Have a high school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
- Have at least 2 years of experience working with basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
- Can perform painting, carpentry, and finish work.
- Have worked with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
- Communicate well with residents regarding the status of their maintenance requests.
- Maintain confidentiality of guest and resident information.
- Certifications including:
- Certificate of Fitness to Operate and Maintain Air Compressors (A-35)
- Certificate of Fitness for Low Pressure Oil Burner Operator (P-99)
- Certificate of Fitness for Citywide Sprinkler Systems (S-12, S-13)
- Certificate of Fitness for Supervision of Bulk Oil Storage Facility (P-13)
- The EPA 608 Universal Certification
Then you may be a great fit for this position! Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or residential environment is a plus! Experience with Building Management Systems and a basic knowledge of computer programs will make your application stand out.
Schedule:
Overnight position; 10:45 pm - 7:30 am | Days off: Tuesday and Wednesday
Pay & Benefits:
