 Responsibilities:

As a Handyperson, you will be responsible for:

•  Providing operational and maintenance support for electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and HVAC systems.
• Performing general maintenance for residential units and the rest of the building, such as:
  • Painting
  • Drywall Repair
  • Carpentry Work
  • Light Bulb Replacements
  • Plumbing
  • Equipment Repair

• Maintaining the proficiency of fire, life, health, and safety systems.
• Delivering 5-star service to residents, guests, and fellow team members.
• Performing other duties as assigned.  

Requirements:

If you:

• Have a high school diploma or GED and a vocational/technical background.
• Have at least 2 years of experience working with basic electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Can perform painting, carpentry, and finish work.
• Have worked with fire, life, health, and safety systems.
• Communicate well with residents regarding the status of their maintenance requests.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest and resident information.
• Certifications including:
  • (Z-95) Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems in Shelters and Similar Facilities
  • (P-98) Fuel Oil Piping and Storage in Buildings (Supervision of Fuel-Oil Piping & Storage in Buildings)
  • (P-99) Low-Pressure Oil Bruner Operator (Supervision of Low-Pressure Boilers)
  • (A-35) Operation & Maintenance of Air Compressors
  • (S-12) Citywide Sprinkler Systems (Supervision & Maintenance)
  • (S-13) Citywide Standpipe Systems (Supervision & Maintenance)

Then you may be a great fit for this position! Previous experience working in a luxury hotel or residential environment is a plus! Experience with Building Management Systems and a basic knowledge of computer programs will make your application stand out. Schedule is as follows:

2:45 PM - 11:30 PM with days off to be determined

Pay & Benefits:
