We are seeking an organized and customer-focused New Customer Billing Specialist to join our billing team. This role will focus on managing and processing new customer accounts, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and a smooth experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the billing process for new customers and add ons, including preparing, sending invoices to clients and collecting payments.
- Respond to inquiries related to first-time billing, pricing details, and account setup charges, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of all new customer billing activities, payments received, and inventory.
- Identify opportunities to improve billing processes and reduce delays.
- Provide reports and insights to management on renewal success rates, outstanding invoices, and related metrics.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service, including making and answering phone calls to support new customers
- Proven experience in billing, invoicing, or finance.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage and process a high volume of customers and invoices accurately.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet team goals and ensure seamless billing operations.
- Proficiency with billing systems and financial software; experience with Salesforce and Quickbooks is a plus.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to handle client inquiries professionally and clearly.
- Problem-solving skills with a customer-centric approach to resolving billing discrepancies and questions.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
