Mango Cannabis is looking for friendly, dependable, and customer-focused Budtenders to join our New Buffalo team on a part-time, weekend-only basis.

Weekends are our busiest days, so we’re looking for people who enjoy working with customers, stay organized when things get busy, and are ready to contribute as part of a team. This role is a great fit for students, people with weekday commitments, or anyone looking for steady weekend hours in the cannabis industry.

Cannabis experience is a plus, but great customer service, reliability, and a willingness to learn are just as important.

Schedule

• Part-time, approximately (16-29) hours per week
• Friday, Saturday and Sunday shifts required
• Day and evening shifts available
• Holiday weekends may be required

What You’ll Do

Customer Experience & Sales

• Greet every customer in a friendly, welcoming, and professional manner.
• Help customers navigate cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, budget, and desired experience.
• Build knowledge across flower, edibles, concentrates, vapes, accessories, and new product offerings.
• Educate customers on product options and responsible use.
• Support store sales goals by promoting featured products, current promotions, and loyalty programs.

Compliance & Transaction Accuracy

• Verify customer identification and eligibility in accordance with Michigan cannabis regulations and company procedures.
• Accurately process cash, debit, and other approved transactions using our Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Follow all cash-handling procedures, Cannabis Regulatory Agency (CRA) requirements, and Mango Cannabis policies.
• Maintain accuracy and attention to detail, even during peak weekend traffic.

Store Operations

• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, stocked, and customer-ready.
• Assist with stocking, inventory, labeling, and other daily store tasks as needed.
• Communicate with managers and teammates to keep customer traffic moving smoothly.
• Support opening, closing, and cleaning duties during your weekend shifts.

What We’re Looking For

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Consistent availability every Saturday and Sunday.
• Previous retail, hospitality, sales, or customer service experience preferred.
• Cannabis or dispensary experience is a plus, but not required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Dependable, punctual, and ready to work scheduled shifts.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Able to multitask while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must meet all applicable Michigan cannabis employment requirements and company hiring requirements.
