Budtender

Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Marijuana Budtender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis and a strong desire to provide exceptional customer service. As a Budtender, you will be responsible for assisting customers in selecting the right products to meet their needs, providing product knowledge, and ensuring a positive shopping experience in our retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Educate customers about various cannabis products, including strains, edibles, concentrates, and accessories.
• Provide product demos and recommendations based on customer preferences and needs.
• Upsell products by effectively communicating the benefits of additional items.
• Maintain an organized and well-stocked display of products.
• Handle cash register transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
• Assist with inventory management, including stock checks and restocking shelves as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sales floor and work areas.
• Demonstrate excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
• Knowledge of cannabis products and their effects is highly desirable.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply to better serve our diverse clientele.
• Basic math skills are necessary for cash handling and inventory management.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with customers and provide exceptional service.
• Experience with retail math is a plus for managing stock levels and sales reporting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
