What are the responsibilities and job description for the NEB Order Picker position at Mancini Companies?
Sunday- Thursday, 4:00PM shift start time.
JOB SUMMARY:
Pick product and assemble pallets from assigned Load Sheets and prepare the trucks for the next day outgoing delivery
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Pick product from assigned order load sheets and warehouse locations
Build and construct all product on the pallets based on set of load standards
Validate all product on pallets for the correct brand, size, package, and quantity
Label all pallets with appropriate route and order stop numbers
Shrink wrap each qualified pallet and stage for checking and loading process
Correct all picking errors identified by the Checker to ensure an accurate final product on pallets before they are loaded
Utilize Forklift and Electric Pallet jacks to maneuver through the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner
Complete all required daily paperwork in an orderly, accurate, and detailed manner
ACCOUNTABILITIES:
All trucks must be loaded in time for next day delivery and checked prior to leaving the building
Requirements
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or equivalent
Must have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:
Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operation, set-up, inspection, and adjustments that require frequent decisions to detect and adjust for variance from proper operation. AND/OR Operate mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to ascend and descend stairs and traverse small spaces, remain in a stationary position 50% of the time, move about to access materials and equipment to perform job duties, operate basic tools, communicate with customers and co-workers, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects

May be subject to inside environmental conditions, including noise.
