JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for consistently achieving sales growth objectives and Business Driver goals through the effective management of all key activities within the accounts. Plan, organize and execute the sales and marketing activities of all brands in assigned accounts. Merchandise, pack out, build displays, place coolers in both large format and small format accounts
Core Job Functions
- Make 100% of assigned sales calls and service all accounts on required designated days
- Achieve all the sales goals and Business Driver Objectives in the assigned accounts
- Target to meet all the distribution and activity standards within the account
- Manage all selling activities within the accounts to include order mgmt, merchandising, signage utilization, program execution, Cooler placement, Staff training, promotional activity, AR
Key Accountabilities and Workstreams
- Analyze account base in order to identify key brand opportunities
- Pre-plan sales calls and present new products and promotions to all buyers
- Target and leverage display opportunities within the account foot print
- Aggressively seek additional shelf and floor space expansion
- Merchandise and provide visibility to our brands through signage, shelf talkers,
- Consistently train account personnel about our portfolio of brands
- Inform customers and actively sell in programs and activities
- Audit and maintain quality assurance (QA) standards for products
- Manage Accounts Receivables to be within credit terms
- Use all sales tools and resources for order entry and other sales related activities
- Maintain current route list with current data and information
- Actively participate in weekly sales meetings and sales events
- Complete tracking forms and trade surveys as required by manager in a timely fashion

ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Daily deadlines for a Sales Representative includes: meeting order entry deadlines, and meeting daily deadlines for seeing assigned accounts.
- Turn in money collected to office twice per week.
- Audit and maintain QA standards and notify management of deficiencies.
- A Sales Representative is sometimes responsible for performing duties beyond the normal workday.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma (required)
Bachelor's degree preferable
Prior route sales experience preferable
Minimum 2 years beverage industry experience

MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS:
Light mental and visual attention required for performing work where there is some variety but actions taken and decisions made are limited to few possibilities. Work requires some coordination with others. AND/OR set-up, regulate, and adjust simple machines or processes.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to remain stationary for extended periods of time, ability to move about to access various objects, ability to operate office machinery such as a computer, ability to communicate effectively. Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
