What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Malone Workforce Solutions?
We are working with a manufacturing client that is looking for a Maintenance Manager near Elizabethtown, KY. This person will direct and oversee all daily maintenance activities, including tracking mechanical performance, documenting and maintaining maintenance records and conducting any necessary repairs There will be no direct reports with this position. This is a full time direct hire position. No sponsorship is available. No B2C/C2C. Must live in the Louisville area. No relocation assistance available.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee, lead and direct all maintenance procedures and operations
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company protocol
- Create and implement measures to minimize breakdowns and repairs (performing preventive maintenance checks of all machinery, tools, equipment, etc.)
- Create and adhere to maintenance budgets and planning capital expenditures
- Troubleshoot problem areas and create a clear plan of action for fixing necessary equipment
- Assess current maintenance work processes to optimize efficiency
- Maintain vendor relationships
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3 years of maintenance lead or management experience
- Experience with maintenance processes: Maintenance schedules, preventive and predictive maintenance processes
- Experience with facilities maintenance
- Need to have a proactive mechanical mindset
