Mallory Safety and Supply is currently looking for a Warehouse Team Lead to join our St. Louis Team!

We are looking to fill the role for one Warehouse Team Lead, who will play a pivotal role in ensuring receiving, shipping and distribution departments are operating efficiently in our branch. The Warehouse Team Lead will primarily focus on assisting with supervising a small team of employees,  training and handling employee relations issues. The Warehouse Team Lead will be required to ensure safety best practices and complete necessary process, policies and procedures as required by the Human Resources department. Finally, the Warehouse Team Lead will also play a part in warehouse operations and strategy. Mallory stands by the theory of working leaders; therefore, this person will also be responsible for completing daily tasks in the warehouse. Collaboration is essential as the branch leads work closely together to meet goals, mentor the warehouse team, and roll out initiatives to drive company growth and exceed customer expectations.

As a Warehouse Team Lead, here's how you will make an impact:

• Partnering with Operations Director to meet department goals
• Lead and collaborate with training leads and other leads in the branch
• Collaborate with another department as needed 
• Supervise assigned warehouse associates 
• Complete administrative work in conjunction with managing a team, such as: approving timecards, performance reviews, trainings and disciplinary action
• Ensure best safety practices and co-lead regular warehouse meetings
• Consistently review warehouse operations to ensure its operating at highest potential
• Assist with warehouse daily tasks, such as: picking, receiving, loading and unloading, operation warehouse equipment, and using the ERP system.
• Lead projects and other duties as needed 

Here is what we are looking for in a Warehouse Team Lead:

• Previous warehouse, merchandising, order pulling experience required
• Proven track record of leadership required, preferably in a warehouse environment
• Ability to keep up in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
• Familiarity with warehouse technology such as computers, RF scanners, etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and warehouse ERP systems is preferred
• Strong work ethic with a true sense of urgency
• Creative problem-solving skills
• Strong focus on safety
• Ability to read and write in English
• Driving record that aligns with our safe driver policy 
• Lifting up to 50 pounds consistently
• Bending, stooping, and twisting consistently
• Walking and standing consistently
• Frequently looking at screen and occasion sitting at desk
