Survey CAD Technician

Summary

We have an immediate opening available in our growing survey department for a Survey CADD Drafter/Technician with at least of 2 years of experience. This position must have knowledge of office surveying techniques, including the processing of topographic survey field data, generating DTMs/Surfaces, preparing topographic survey plans using applicable standards, deed and easement research, property mosaic preparation, boundary surveys and analysis, and plan development.

*This position offers the option to work in our office full-time or a hybrid schedule. Incumbent must be located within commuting distance.

Requirements

• 2 years’ experience as a Survey CAD Drafter/Tech required
• Must be proficient with AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroStation Inroads/OpenRoads
• Coordinate geometry and trigonometry skills a plus
• Processing or extracting LiDAR point cloud data a plus
• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• NJDOT or PennDOT experience preferred
• Leadership & scheduling skills
• Ability to manage junior technicians and projects to meet required deadlines
• Ability to process survey data and perform necessary adjustments using Starnet a plus
• Field survey experience a plus but not required
