Mid-sized law firm seeking an experienced Evictions/Unlawful Detainer Paralegal to support and manage a caseload of unlawful detainer matters in California and other Western states. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years of hands-on unlawful detainer experience, with related experience supporting matters involving landlords, tenants, creditors, and/or loan servicers.The Paralegal will assist attorneys with a variety of primarily residential unlawful detainer matters, including but not limited to rent control issues, complex tenancy disputes, contested matters, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and post-judgment enforcement. Responsibilities include drafting pleadings and motions, coordinating filings, managing deadlines, preparing trial binders, communicating with clients and court personnel, and collaborating with attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure efficient case progression. The Firm will consider seasoned paralegals with substantial eviction/unlawful detainer experience, including candidates with post-foreclosure eviction exposure. Basic Requirements:Minimum 5 years of unlawful detainer / eviction paralegal experienceStrong familiarity with California unlawful detainer procedures and deadlinesAbility to work on-site in Irvine, CAPreferred Qualifications:Strong legal drafting and organizational skillsAbility to prioritize, multitask, and manage a high-volume caseloadExperience supporting litigation through trialStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsExperience with creditor representationExperience with post-foreclosure evictions / unlawful detainersProficiency with e-filing systems and case management softwareThis position is in Office in Irvine, CA with the possibility of a hybrid schedule after the initial training period has been completed.
