We are seeking a Facilities Audio Visual (AV) Technician who will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our AV conference environments. This is a highly visible position that ensures our internal teams, clients, and executive leadership can meet, collaborate, and communicate seamlessly.About the RoleAs a Facilities AV Technician, you will be the on-site expert for all conference room audiovisual systems. You will deliver white-glove support for high-profile meetings, proactively maintain equipment, and troubleshoot issues to keep our AV operations running at the highest standard. Your work will directly impact the success of daily business activities across the organization.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide high-level, white-glove AV support for internal, customer, and executive meetingsAnticipate AV issues and proactively present solutions to clientsDemonstrate strong working knowledge of video conferencing services, with emphasis on Webex BoardOffer technical expertise for deployment and operation of Crestron Flex and Polycom VTC systemsPartner closely with Events and Facility Management teams to ensure meeting rooms are fully prepared, including cleanliness, temperature, technology function, and readinessReview meeting and event setup specifications and ensure proper room configurationCoordinate with clients to confirm exact requirements for configurable spaces, including layouts, technology needs, and environmental setupMaintain availability of client consumables such as markers, erasers, and tissuesUphold established standards for conference room signage, equipment placement, and seatingPerform electronics troubleshooting to quickly identify and isolate issuesRespond promptly to client requests and service needsSupport, maintain, and troubleshoot audio-video systems, media control systems, and associated wiringCoordinate with IT by submitting and tracking AV-related support ticketsConduct routine and proactive testing of systems before usePerform alignment and calibration of audio and video devicesCommunicate and escalate maintenance or repair needs for AV equipmentExecute regular preventive maintenance, software/firmware updates, and system repairsAssist with commissioning and light programming tasksPerform additional duties as assignedRequired Qualifications2 years of experience in a client- or customer servicefocused environment, ideally in a corporate conference center2 years of experience using Microsoft Office in a professional settingFamiliarity with integrated AV systemsAbility to quickly learn new softwareComfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting prioritiesProfessional appearance and demeanor at all timesExperience in a hotel, corporate conference center, or large enterprise AV environmentPreferred QualificationsBachelors degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a high school diploma with 3 years of related experienceStrong ability to perform under pressure and manage time effectivelyExperience with EMS or a web-based conference room scheduling platformCTS CertificationCrestron, AMX, or Extron certificationsExperience with DSP programming (BIAMP, QSC)If you are passionate about delivering exceptional AV experiences and thrive in an environment where no two days are the same, we want to hear from you.Lets create exceptional meeting and collaboration experiences together.
