Mobile Phlebotomist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mobile Phlebotomist to join our healthcare team. We are looking for a part time Phlebotomist that can be on call and travel to facilities as a fill in. Please do not apply if you dont have prior experience.

Duties

• Perform blood sampling and venipuncture with precision and care.
• Collect specimens according to established laboratory procedures.
• Process specimens for laboratory analysis while maintaining proper handling protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain confidentiality.
• Monitor and record vital signs as necessary during patient interactions.
• Provide exceptional patient care by addressing concerns and ensuring comfort during procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of mobile phlebotomy equipment and supplies.
• Stay updated on medical terminology and physiology knowledge relevant to the role.

Requirements

• Proven experience in blood sampling and specimen collection processing.
• Familiarity with laboratory procedures and medical terminology.
• Strong understanding of patient care principles and vital signs monitoring.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on patient service.
• Ability to work independently in various environments while adhering to safety protocols.
• Valid certification in phlebotomy or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of physiology is a plus, enhancing the understanding of patient needs during procedures.
