Key Responsibilities:
- Collects specimens according to established procedures and ensures accurate completion of requisitions.
- Processes and packages specimens for transport, maintaining required records and documentation.
- Reads, understands, and complies with departmental policies, protocols, and procedures.
- Maintains collection logs and performs clerical duties such as filing and data entry.
- Submits accurate expense forms on the required day and demonstrates organizational commitment.
- Adheres to departmental and company code of grooming and dress code and lab coat policies.
- Reports on time to work and answers the telephone in a friendly and helpful manner.
- Communicates appropriately with clients, customers, coworkers, and the general public while keeping information confidential per company and procedural policies.
- Pursues miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as assigned, including maintaining a neat and clean work area and disposing of biohazard containers when scheduled.
