Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Perform detailed quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, UT, MT to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Conduct comprehensive quality audits in accordance with AISC and ISO 9001 to ensure compliance across manufacturing processes.
- Collect and analyze data related to product quality, documenting findings accurately for review and reporting purposes.
- Support quality assurance activities by identifying non-conformances, initiating corrective actions, and verifying their effectiveness.
- Participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving sessions to address recurring quality issues.
- Assist with calibration and maintenance of measurement tools and inspection equipment to uphold measurement accuracy.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality management systems aimed at continuous process improvement.
Skills
- Proficiency in weld inspection, to include; VT, MT, and UT
- Strong understanding of industry standards including: AWS D1.1, AISC, and ISO 9001.
- Excellent analysis skills for interpreting inspection data and identifying trends or deviations.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions within a regulated environment.
- Familiarity with quality management software and data collection tools for tracking inspection results.
- Ability to operate precision measuring instruments confidently and accurately.

Pay: $22.96 - $27.65 per hour
