Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Production Supervisor to lead our manufacturing operations with energy and precision. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of production teams on the assembly line to meet production goals
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed rigorously by team members, promoting a safe working environment at all times
- Monitor manufacturing processes, utilizing hand tools and power tools to facilitate assembly tasks efficiently
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and work areas, including forklift operations and warehouse zones, to maintain optimal conditions
- Provide training and guidance on mechanical procedures, assembly techniques, and the proper use of hand tools and power tools
- Collaborate with quality control teams to uphold product standards and address any issues promptly
- Maintain accurate production records, including shift reports, inventory logs, and safety documentation
Requirements
- Proven experience in a manufacturing facility or factory environment with hands-on knowledge of assembly lines, welding, and heavy steel fabrication
- Proven experience in establishing flow, down time tracking, process improvement, and material handling improvements
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment safely
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficient with basic computer software, such as Microsoft Excel
- Ability to interpret technical instructions, blueprints, and work effectively using assembly instructions and technical diagrams
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift materials safely, and perform manual tasks as needed
- Proficient in basic math, as it pertains to steel fabrication
