At The Greenleigh, exceptional hospitality is supported by strong financial operations behind the scenes. The Accounting Clerk plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the day-to-day accounting functions of the hotel.
This role assists the Finance team with administrative and accounting tasks, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance with Makeready standards.
Requested Tasks
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice processing and payment tracking
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of transactions
- Support daily revenue reconciliation and posting as needed
- Assist with payroll coordination and related administrative tasks
- Prepare and organize financial reports, records, and files
- Reconcile discrepancies and assist in resolving accounting issues
- Support month-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and internal controls
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial information
Requested Capabilities
- Prior experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance preferred
- Experience in hospitality or hotel accounting a plus
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
- High level of accuracy and integrity in handling financial information
