Major, Lindsey & Africa’s Interim Legal Talent group has an immediate need for an Interim Compliance Manager for a well-respected management consulting firm.
Overview: Our client seeks a skilled compliance manager to join its compliance team to advise both internal consultants and its clients.
Company: Our client is a Boston-based management consulting firm with over forty years of experience advising on litigation consulting, antitrust, healthcare economics, financial economics, and expert witness support.
Experience: Our client seeks a skilled compliance manager to provide internal and external advice on compliance issues in the sciences and health care spaces.
Location: Hybrid; Three days per week in the client’s Back Bay offices.
Responsibilities Include:
- Handle both client and internal requests for audit responses, questionnaires, requests for information (RFIs) and requests for proposals (RFPs).
- Review drafts of initial responses prepared by junior members of the compliance team and work with senior colleagues to create the final responses.
- Track client requests to comply with healthcare client standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Partner with the Compliance team and other internal teams to identify opportunities for process improvement (e.g., use of IT tools and resources) to improve the quality, effectiveness, and efficiency of this function.
Qualifications Include:
- Excellent academic credentials including a baccalaureate degree from a well-respected, four-year institution. A law degree is preferred but not required.
- At least five years of experience acquired in a top law firm, professional services firm, or other in-house environment advising on compliance, ideally for life sciences clients.
- Comfort in working with both junior and senior members of the client’s teams.
- Willingness to work in a feed-back rich environment.
Pay rate: $90
