Kitchen Cabinet Sales Specialist (Design 2020 Experience Required)

About the Role
We are looking for experienced and motivated Kitchen Cabinet Sales Specialist/Designer to join our showroom team. The ideal candidate must have hands-on experience with Design 2020 software, strong design skills, and the ability to manage the full customer sales process.
You will work directly with homeowners, contractors, and designers to create kitchen layouts using Design 2020, prepare quotes, process orders, and ensure a seamless customer experience from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet showroom customers and assess their project needs.
- Recommend cabinetry solutions based on budget, layout, and design preferences.
- Design kitchens using 2020 Design software (accurate measurements, layout planning).
- Prepare detailed quotes, pricing, and proposals.
- Handle the entire sales process from consultation to closing.
- Coordinate with installers and warehouse staff to ensure accurate delivery.
- Upsell/cross-sell countertops, hardware, and accessories.
- Provide high-level customer service and post-sale follow-up.
- Maintain the showroom (organization, cleanliness, merchandising).
- Meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
Qualifications
Required:
- 1–3 years experience in kitchen cabinet sales or related field.
- Proficiency with 2020 Design software.
- Strong understanding of framed and frameless cabinetry construction, materials, and finishes.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven sales skills with the ability to close deals and meet targets.
- Accuracy in measurements, quoting, and design details.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office & Excel.
Preferred:
- Experience using QuickBooks for quotes/invoicing.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
- Associate degree or certification in interior design, sales, or related field (preferred).
