Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control & Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for managing inventory records, coordinating purchase orders, confirming orders with warehouses and customers, and communicating with vendors to ensure smooth daily operations.
The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience with QuickBooks, and is comfortable communicating in a fast-paced business environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory records
- Count and verify incoming inventory and record inventory received
- Track and record inventory going out (sales orders, transfers, installations, etc.)
- Create and manage purchase orders in QuickBooks
- Confirm orders with warehouses and customers to ensure accuracy and timely fulfillment
- Communicate with vendors via email and phone regarding orders, pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Coordinate with internal teams to support operations and sales
- Resolve inventory discrepancies and report issues promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of QuickBooks experience (required)
- Prior experience in inventory control, purchasing, or logistics preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage deadlines
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluent in English (required)
- Mandarin Chinese preferred but not required
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with warehouses or vendors
- Familiarity with inventory tracking systems
- Strong email and phone communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
