What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Maintenance position at Maintenance Department?
General Maintenance
8 Hours a day
235 days a year
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Valid and current New Mexico Operator's license
- Knowledge of opeating maintenance equipment
- Ability to read and interpret instruction in order to maintain warehouse/maintenance records
- Knowledge of organizational pattern of the school district and the location of its employees
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of maintenance procedures in the inventory of supplies and materials
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs including but not limited to interior and exterior building
- Ability to perform grounds and field maintenance and landscaping as directed or scheduled
- Ability to operate district equipment, such as tractors, mowers, power equipment, mechanical tools, etc.
- Physical abilities to perform the physical tasks required of this position
- Able to use technology to perform warehouse responsibilities
- Uses effective people skills to communicate
