Journeyman Plumbing Maintenance
8 Hours a day
235 days a year
- Current Boiler Operator License (BO2) Preferred
- Current EPA Section 608 Certification Preferred
- Ability to install, repair, and maintain pipes, valves, fittings, drainage systems and fixtures in commercial and residential structures.
- Experience in Maintenance and repair for heating, cooling, evaporative and refrigeration systems, radiant heat, chillers and cooling towers and kitchen equipment repair
- High School Diploma or GED Certificate
- Valid and current New Mexico Operator’s license
- Ability to read and interpret instruction in order to maintain warehouse/maintenance records
- Knowledge of organizational pattern of the school district and the location of its employees
- Demonstrated knowledge and application of maintenance procedures in the inventory of supplies and materials
- Ability to perform maintenance and repairs including but not limited to interior and exterior buildings and grounds as required
- Ability to operate district equipment, such as tractors, mowers, power equipment, mechanical tools, etc.
- Physical abilities to perform the physical tasks required of this position
- Able to use technology to perform warehouse responsibilities
- Uses effective people skills to communicate
