Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Human Resources Generalist to join our team. This role is essential in managing various HR functions for our clients and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of human capital management, employee relations, and talent acquisition, while demonstrating excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
Responsibilities may include
- Manage the full cycle of talent acquisition including recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.
- Administer employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with FMLA and other employment laws.
- Facilitate employee orientation sessions to promote company culture and values.
- Conduct employee evaluations and performance management processes.
- Support change management initiatives and strategic planning efforts within the organization.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
- Oversee workforce management activities including scheduling and attendance tracking.
- Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Handle employee relations issues, providing conflict management support as needed.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and affirmative action planning requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership on organization design and succession planning efforts.
- Utilize various HR tools such as ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems), Workday, Paychex, Dayforce, Oracle HCM, iCIMS, SAP SuccessFactors, PeopleSoft, Ceridian, UltiPro, Paylocity, Kronos, Salesforce, Lever, Taleo for effective HR operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in human resources management or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of employment & labor law regulations.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for HR metrics reporting.
- Familiarity with social media management for recruitment purposes is a plus.
- Strong administrative experience with attention to detail in all tasks performed.
- Exceptional communication skills both written and verbal.
