The Role: Pharmacy Technician

We are offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team.
The Work:
- Refills and maintains automated dispensing systems.
- Prepares compounds within the scope of practice.
- Prepares orders and maintains inventory for the pharmacy and other service departments.
- Performs quality assurance rounds to ensure regulatory compliance.
You Have:
- Current State of Maine Pharmacy Tech or Pharmacy Intern license, or be eligible for required pharmacy technician licensure (required)
- Graduate of an accredited Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
- Current Pharmacy Technician Board Certification (CPhT), preferred
- At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a hospital setting and/or retail setting, strongly preferred
- Extensive customer service experience
- Excellent and demonstrated communication skills
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail
- Computer proficiency
