Duties
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, personalized service throughout their dining experience
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the TOAST POS system as well as hand written orders
- Utilize our reservation system, RESY, and keep track of online reservations and walk-ins
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety, sanitation, and presentation
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to ensure a spotless environment
- Foster guest relations by addressing questions, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring overall guest satisfaction
Requirements
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, preferably with fine dining settings
- Strong knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Ability to manage time effectively during busy shifts while multitasking seamlessly
- Basic math skills for cashiering, bill splitting, and transaction accuracy
- Knowledge of culinary techniques or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of menu items
