- Run a highly structured, well-managed classroom where students are focused, accountable, and engaged
- Have a proven track record of moving students forward, both those ready to accelerate and those who need remediation
- Communicate clearly, consistently, and professionally with parents
- Are organized, prepared, and intentional in your planning and grading
- Take ownership of student outcomes and follow through
- Minimum of 3 years of lead teaching experience in a full-time classroom role (applications with less experience will not be considered)
- Must have full-time lead teaching experience in an upper elementary, middle, or high school setting (middle school strongly preferred; university teaching is not considered)
- Demonstrated, highly effective classroom management, this must be evident in your experience and references
- Clear evidence of student growth, including students being placed into advanced math courses after being taught by you
- Experience successfully teaching remedial or support-level students in addition to grade-level instruction
- Strong, consistent parent communication practices
- Highly organized with strong follow-through
