Property Manager/ Handyman
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Property Manager / Handyman to oversee the maintenance and day-to-day care of several private family residences located within a five-mile radius.
This role is ideal for a proactive, service-oriented professional who takes pride in keeping homes safe, functional, and maintained to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily maintenance, upkeep, and readiness of multiple residences.
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance, including changing air filters, lightbulbs, batteries, and other household systems.
- Monitor and troubleshoot HVAC, A/V, pool, security, and other home systems.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors, ensuring quality work and timely completion.
- Assist with exterior upkeep, including power washing, sweeping, and maintaining guest-ready outdoor spaces.
- Run property-related errands, deliveries, and supply pickups.
- Communicate maintenance updates and priorities with the principals and household staff.
- Respond to urgent maintenance issues and be available for after-hours property emergencies.
- Assist with special projects as needed.
Qualifications
- Experience as a Property Manager, Handyman, Estate Maintenance Manager, Caretaker, or similar hands-on residential role.
- Strong maintenance and troubleshooting skills with household systems.
- Organized, dependable, discreet, and self-motivated.
- Comfortable managing multiple properties and coordinating vendors.
- Tech-savvy, with basic administrative skills for email and weekly reports.
- Physically able to perform active indoor and outdoor work.
- Valid driver's license and reliable local transportation.
- Excellent, verifiable references.
Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm (flexible to 9:00 am – 6:00 pm).
- On-call availability for property emergencies after hours, weekends, and holidays.
Compensation
- Base salary: $175,000–$250,000, depending on experience.
