Housekeeper Devonshire, Dallas, TX
Full-Time (40 hours/week)
$38-42 per hour (depending on experience) plus full health benefits, paid vacation, 401(k)
A warm and active family is seeking a highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented long term partner to help maintain their 8,500 sq. ft. home.
The family is blessed with three children and a small family dog, so the ideal candidate enjoys a lively, family environment.
You are the most organized person in your family, who loves making a home clean and neat. Taking initiative, working efficiently and bringing a positive, upbeat presence is how you work to support a family's daily routine. You have good judgement and discretion and can read the room naturally to work around the family while respecting their privacy.
The ideal start date for this position would be mid-August.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and deep cleaning of the home, keeping all rooms tidy and inviting (vacuuming, mopping, dusting, polishing, etc.)
- Laundry care for the household, including washing, folding, and organizing clothing and linens
- Ironing garments and household linens as needed
- Make beds and maintain bedroom organization
- Kitchen upkeep, including dishes, loading/unloading the dishwasher, wiping surfaces
- Manage grocery shopping, simple meal prep and household stocking
- Maintain cleaning supplies and notify the family when replenishment is needed
- Receiving deliveries and occasional oversight of trusted household vendors
Qualifications
- 3 years of professional housekeeping experience in a large private home
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Comfort working around young children and a dog
- Dependable, trustworthy, and respectful of family privacy
- Excellent judgement and emotional intelligence
- Positive, warm, friendly demeanor and a proactive mindset
- Experience caring for fine furnishings, antiques and specialty surfaces
- Able to navigate a two-story home comfortably
Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours per week
- Monday-Friday: 8:00 am - 4:00 pm
