Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Technician to support inspection and quality assurance activities in our CNC machining facility. This role is responsible for verifying that parts meet customer specifications through accurate inspection, documentation, and collaboration with production.
The ideal candidate has experience using precision measuring tools and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, bore gauges, and other measuring equipment
- Operate CMM equipment (if qualified)
- Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements
- Document inspection results and maintain quality records
- Identify and report nonconforming material
- Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions
- Support internal and external audits as needed
- Maintain calibration records for inspection equipment
Qualifications
Required:
- 1 years experience in manufacturing or inspection
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Familiarity with GD&T basics
- Experience using precision measuring tools
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
Preferred:
- CMM experience
- ISO 9001 knowledge
- Technical or trade school education
- Experience in CNC machining environment

Pay: $18.00 - $26.50 per hour
