What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager position at magnit-xcelenergy?
Job Title: AI Solution Delivery Specialist
Location: Denver, CO or Minneapolis, MN (Hybrid)
Program: Enterprise AI – AI Enablement: Solution Delivery
Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated AI Solution Delivery Specialist to serve as the primary bridge between Enterprise AI teams and internal business units. This role is ideal for a consultative problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of business, technology, and delivery execution.
You will proactively identify AI opportunities, guide solutions from concept through adoption, and transform successful initiatives into compelling internal success stories that drive continued demand.
This is a front-end heavy, business-focused role—not a developer position. You will focus on understanding business challenges, shaping AI-driven solutions, and ensuring measurable value is realized.
Key Responsibilities
Discovery & Pipeline Development
Proactively engage with business units to uncover AI opportunities (not just respond to intake requests)
Identify pain points and translate them into clear problem statements and solution opportunities
Promote and extend existing AI solutions across new areas of the business
Conduct structured discovery sessions to capture requirements, success criteria, and value metrics
Prioritize use cases based on impact, feasibility, and strategic alignment
Solution Delivery & Execution
Own end-to-end delivery: discovery → scoping → coordination → deployment → adoption
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and AI development teams
Translate business needs into actionable requirements for technical teams
Manage timelines, sprint tracking, risks, and stakeholder communications
Ensure solutions maintain momentum and deliver measurable outcomes
Value Realization & Storytelling
Quantify impact (time savings, cost reduction, risk mitigation, efficiency gains)
Develop "Hero Stories" showcasing before-and-after transformation
Create executive-ready presentations, case studies, and one-pagers
Use success stories to generate new opportunities and expand AI adoption
Support internal communications (leadership updates, newsletters, demos)
What You’ll Be Doing Day-to-Day
Meeting with stakeholders to understand business challenges
Reviewing and shaping AI use case intake requests
Identifying new opportunities across departments
Coordinating with developers and AI teams on active solutions
Tracking progress and ensuring delivery milestones are met
Validating results post-deployment and measuring value delivered
Required Qualifications
7 years of experience in consulting, program management, business analysis, solution delivery, or client-facing roles
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills (front-line to executive level)
Proven ability to translate business problems into structured solutions
Experience managing multiple initiatives in agile or sprint-based environments
Familiarity with tools such as Jira or similar work management platforms
Hands-on experience using AI tools (e.g., Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) in daily workflows
Strong storytelling ability—able to communicate technical outcomes in business terms
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in consulting, SaaS, or solution-based sales environments
Background in process improvement or change management
Experience with internal product evangelism or technology adoption
Familiarity with the energy or utilities industry
Experience embedding AI into business processes
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proactive and self-driven—comfortable building pipeline, not just managing it
Strong business acumen with a focus on value creation
Confident communicator who can influence and challenge stakeholders
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and shaping undefined problems
Balanced mindset: strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability
Passionate about AI and actively using it to improve productivity
Team & Environment
You will partner closely with Enterprise AI leadership, internal stakeholders across business units, and external development partners. This role serves as the front-end owner of AI initiatives, ensuring ideas are identified, shaped, delivered, and adopted successfully.
