Enterprise Architect

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic infrastructure professional to join our Enterprise Architecture team. In this critical leadership role, you will drive network and infrastructure architecture initiatives across the enterprise, serving as the technical lead for the network architecture pod. You will play a pivotal role in planning, facilitating, and conducting assessments to manage and guide architecture roadmaps, while helping to describe the business in terms of its functions, processes, and information flows. You will mentor team members, guide projects on their overall solution approach, engage with cross-functional architecture teams, and support teams in preparing for architecture review and approval processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead network and infrastructure architecture efforts across the enterprise, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and roadmaps

• Serve as technical lead for the network architecture pod, providing direction, mentorship, and knowledge transfer to team members

• Facilitate the Enterprise Architecture process including planning sessions, assessments, and governance reviews

• Guide project teams on overall solution approach and engagement with various architecture disciplines

• Assist teams in preparing documentation and presentations for architecture review and approval meetings

• Design and oversee firewall architecture, perimeter security, and network security frameworks

• Support cloud networking and enterprise infrastructure architecture initiatives

• Contribute to strategic architecture, security, and network design programs

• Manage stakeholder relationships across technical and business units to ensure architecture decisions are well-communicated and understood

• Identify and address gaps in network design, firewall, and infrastructure architecture support

Skills

• Expert-level networking knowledge including VLANs, VDOMs, routing, switching, and OSI model concepts

• Strong network security and perimeter security expertise

• Firewall architecture design and administration

• F5 load balancer configuration and administration

• Cloud networking and enterprise infrastructure architecture

• SD-WAN technologies

• OT (Operational Technology) networking

• Private LTE and LTE technologies

• FAN/RAN, microwave, and cellular networking

• Leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder management

Experience

• Extensive experience in enterprise network architecture and infrastructure design

• Proven experience leading network architecture teams or pods in a technical lead capacity

• Demonstrated experience with firewall architecture, F5 platforms, and perimeter security design

• Experience working within formal Enterprise Architecture governance frameworks and review processes

• Cloud networking experience in enterprise-scale environments

• Preferred: exposure to OT networking, private LTE, FAN/RAN, microwave, cellular, and SD-WAN technologies

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related field; equivalent experience considered

• Industry certifications such as CCIE, CCNP, TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture or networking credentials preferred

• Security-focused certifications such as CISSP or equivalent are a plus
