Responsibilities

Design and test individual components, then integrate them into cohesive final products
Monitor product quality and control the efficiency of manufacturing or operational processes
Evaluate overall design effectiveness with respect to cost, reliability, and safety standards
Investigate root causes of failures and recommend corrective actions and process improvements
Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality teams throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain thorough engineering documentation including specifications, test reports, and design records

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field
