Job Summary:
This position plays a critical role in supporting a large-scale, multi-year transformation effort to modernize billing and customer-facing systems across multiple operating companies. The successful candidate will serve as a key resource in navigating the complex intersection of regulatory requirements, tariff structures, and legal frameworks as systems and processes evolve. This role requires someone who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment while managing ambiguity and supporting cross-functional teams through discovery, design, and implementation phases. The individual will be instrumental in ensuring that compliance considerations are integrated throughout the transformation journey, responding to regulatory inquiries, supporting process redesign efforts, and providing critical analysis that bridges operational needs with regulatory obligations.
Responsibilities:
• Respond to regulatory and discovery questions from multiple operating companies throughout the transformation project
• Support new process design initiatives by researching and applying regulatory, tariff, and legal requirements
• Participate in daily standups, work sessions, blueprinting activities, and design workshops with cross-functional teams
• Conduct research to understand the impact of regulatory, legal, and tariff concepts on evolving systems and processes
• Perform risk assessments and analyze existing policies to identify gaps and recommend improvements
• Support documentation efforts and collaboration activities during implementation phases
• Monitor operational compliance practices as they relate to system modernization efforts
• Gather data, conduct analyses, and prepare materials related to compliance reviews
• Provide technical expertise in identifying and reducing areas of potential risk during the transformation
• Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across operating companies and vendor teams
Skills:
• Deep understanding of regulatory, legal, and tariff concepts and their application in complex organizations

• Proven experience supporting large transformation or implementation projects

Experience:
• Multi-year experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or similar functions
• Background working with large, complex organizations, preferably in the utilities sector
• Demonstrated experience supporting system transformation or modernization initiatives
• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce platforms is preferred
• Experience using collaboration tools such as Confluence and Jira is a plus
• Previous work in the utilities industry is highly desirable
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
