SAP Solutions Architect – Supply Chain Focus

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Solutions Architect for a Contract to Hire engagement with deep expertise in supply chain processes to join our forward-thinking technology team. This role is pivotal in designing and delivering integrated SAP solutions that drive business transformation, innovation, and operational excellence across sales and supply chain domains.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and maintain SAP solution architecture for Sales and Supply Chain processes, ensuring alignment with enterprise goals and digital transformation initiatives.
• Lead integration of SAP C4C Sales Cloud with S/4HANA and other platforms for seamless customer engagement and sales execution.
• Architect SAP Advanced Transportation Management (TM) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP) solutions to optimize transportation planning, execution, and S&OP cycles.
• Evaluate and communicate business value and benefits of solutions to stakeholders at all levels.
• Champion adoption of intelligent technologies including SAP BTP, Signavio, and embedded AI tools (e.g., Joule) to automate workflows and improve decision-making.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to identify opportunities for process mining, predictive analytics, and digital capabilities.
• Drive automation, simplification, and continuous improvement across SAP Supply Chain modules.
• Partner with product owners, functional analysts, and integration teams to ensure cohesive solution design and delivery.
• Advise stakeholders on industry best practices and SAP roadmap alignment to deliver innovative solutions.
• Lead retrospectives and contribute to SAP capability roadmap planning to support business growth.
• Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting to application support teams during critical situations.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster a culture of innovation and excellence.

Qualifications

Required

• 8 years of proven experience as an SAP Solution Architect, with strong focus on sales and supply chain domains.
• Deep expertise in SAP Advanced Transportation Management (TM), Integrated Business Planning (IBP) for S&OP, and SAP C4 Sales and Service Cloud.
• Solid familiarity with SAP BTP, Integration Suite (CPI/APIM), and AI/ML capabilities within the SAP ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes in order management, logistics, inventory management, and planning.
• Clear understanding of supply chain interdependencies with finance processes.
• Passion for automation, digital transformation, and leveraging technology to drive business outcomes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to develop and continuously improve solution roadmaps.
• Demonstrated success engaging with business partners to understand needs and influence solutions that deliver measurable results.

Preferred

• Practical experience with CRM systems.
• Experience with SAP security design principles.
• Exposure to hosting SAP workloads on Microsoft Azure.
• Experience with business process improvement tools such as Signavio or LeanIX.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is required.
