Real Estate Development & Legal Coordinator

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support legal, real estate, and development-related activities across a diverse portfolio of active projects. This role will partner closely with executive leadership and serve as a key resource in managing contracts, title matters, due diligence, project documentation, closings, and operational processes throughout the development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has experience working with a real estate developer, homebuilder, title company, or real estate law firm and possesses a strong understanding of real estate transactions, title review, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Support real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing transactions, and development projects.
- Review and coordinate contracts, title commitments, surveys, easements, closing documents, and due diligence materials.
- Track critical deadlines, transaction milestones, closing schedules, and post-closing obligations.
- Review title commitments for liens, encumbrances, easements, title exceptions, and other matters affecting development projects.
- Assist with identifying and resolving title defects and transaction-related issues.
- Coordinate with attorneys, title companies, lenders, municipalities, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
- Maintain project records, development files, transaction documents, and internal reporting systems.
- Create and manage Excel-based trackers, schedules, reports, and project dashboards.
- Develop and improve workflows, SOPs, filing systems, and document management processes.
- Leverage technology, AI tools, and automation platforms to increase efficiency and organization.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as assigned by executive leadership.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience with a real estate developer, homebuilder, title company, real estate law firm, or related organization.
- Strong understanding of title commitments, surveys, easements, liens, closings, and real estate transactions.
- Ability to identify and assist in resolving title and legal issues impacting development projects.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and document management systems.
- Experience creating workflows, checklists, SOPs, and process improvements.
- Comfortable utilizing AI and technology tools to improve productivity and organization.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project coordination skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience supporting land development, master-planned communities, or homebuilding operations.
- Paralegal certification or legal support experience in commercial real estate.
- Experience working directly with executive leadership teams.

Salary : $80,000 - $100,000
