What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at MADISONS AT OLD EDWARDS INN LLC?
The Bartender position will provide a high level of personalized service to guests in any of the Food and Beverage venues at Old Edwards Hospitality Group in an efficient, personable, and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Standing and walking for extended periods of time
- Name usage
- Ability to adhere to ABC standards
- Ability to communicate effectively and serve guests graciously to a high standard
- Ability to prepare consistently excellent cocktails
- Check ID of guests to verify age requirements for purchase of alcohol
- Memorization of the beer, wine, and specialty cocktail list, as well as, lunch and dinner menu, based on location
- Ability to use Micros POS system
- Ability to manage multiple tables at one time
- Accommodate special requests to guests, or offer alternatives
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
- Ability to deal with difficult guests
- Ensure bars are clean and dusted and checklists are completed
- Provide service that exceeds guests’ expectations
- Basic math skills
- Responsibility when handling money and alcohol
- Ability to upsell and work well with a team
- Ensure outlets are stocked for the day
- Bartending and server experience needed.
- Excellent communication skills are important for this position
- Must be Guest oriented and friendly
- Must be 21 years of age
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
