Madison Hunt is partnering with a large-scale power producer developing diversified generation assets across thermal, renewable, and emerging technologies. The company operates gigawatt-scale portfolios serving AI data centers and advanced industrial loads with substantial construction pipeline across major U.S. ISOs.
Responsibilities:
- Support M&A, joint ventures, and strategic partnerships for utility-scale power generation across natural gas, solar, wind, storage.
- Lead project finance structuring including construction/term debt, tax equity, mezzanine financing, and back-leverage; negotiate financing agreements with banks, institutional lenders, and strategic partners
- Build financial models (asset-level DCF, project finance, M&A), prepare investment committee materials, and coordinate transaction execution
- Evaluate acquisition targets, conduct due diligence, and support integration across diverse power platforms
Ideal Candidate:
- 2-4 years in corporate development, private equity, infrastructure investing, project finance, or energy investment banking with power generation and capital markets exposure
- Strong financial modeling capabilities including project finance structures, M&A, and complex capital solutions
- Understanding of power markets, thermal generation economics, and renewable project finance
