What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Relationship Manager, Large Corporates position at Madison-Davis, LLC?
Title: Senior Relationship Manager, Large Corporates
Office Status: Hybrid – New York, NY (Midtown East)
Base Salary: $200,000 – $250,000 (commensurate with experience)
Overview:
A globally active international bank with strong connectivity across emerging markets is growing its Large Corporate coverage team in New York. The focus of this role is squarely on building new client relationships with large-cap corporates that have meaningful cross-border financing needs. This is an environment where senior bankers have real autonomy to operate, and where the emphasis is on doing impactful work with a lean, high-performing team rather than navigating layers of bureaucracy. For someone who is motivated by origination and takes pride in building something of their own, this platform offers a compelling combination of reach and flexibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Originate and develop relationships with large corporate clients, generally those in the $2B to $10B revenue range, with an emphasis on securing bilateral lending mandates and growing wallet share over time.
- Build a consistent pipeline of new-to-bank opportunities, drawing on an established external network and a proactive approach to business development.
- Structure and execute corporate finance transactions in the $20MM to $75MM range, navigating complex client needs with sound credit and structuring judgment.
- Use syndicated and club deal participation as a practical entry point into new relationships, with a longer-term view toward becoming a primary banking partner.
- Engage clients at the senior level on a frequent and meaningful basis, functioning as a trusted advisor rather than simply a coverage contact.
- Oversee an existing portfolio of large corporate clients, managing the balance between growth priorities and ongoing risk monitoring.
- Conduct rigorous financial and credit analysis to underpin transaction structuring and inform client strategy.
- Work closely with internal credit, legal, and operations partners to drive clean and efficient deal execution.
- Maintain a current and informed view of market developments and industry dynamics affecting large corporates and cross-border financing activity.
Salary : $200,000 - $250,000
