Overview
A global reinsurance organization is seeking a Senior Analyst, Management Reporting & Analysis (MR&A) to join its corporate finance team in Stamford. Reporting to the VP of MR&A, this role sits at the center of the finance organization and supports the preparation and analysis of consolidated management and operating results across multiple reporting frameworks.
This position is ideal for professionals with 3–5 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, FP&A, or management reporting, particularly within the insurance or reinsurance sector, who are looking to move into a highly analytical role with exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze quarterly and annual consolidated financial results and support executive-level reporting deliverables
- Assist in preparing management reporting across U.S. GAAP, U.S. Statutory, and IFRS frameworks
- Interpret performance drivers and identify trends, risks, and inconsistencies across business units
- Develop clear financial narratives and commentary used by senior leadership and executive stakeholders
- Maintain and enhance core financial models and reporting frameworks
- Contribute to modernization of reporting processes, including dashboard development and reporting automation using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Partner with finance and accounting teams to deepen understanding of business drivers behind reported financial results
- Support ad hoc analyses and strategic finance projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, financial reporting, or management reporting
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP, U.S. Statutory, and IFRS reporting standards
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial results and communicate key insights
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools
- Insurance or reinsurance industry experience preferred
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Salary : $90,000 - $125,000
