Lead Systems Engineer

A large enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to help support and modernize its enterprise infrastructure environment. This role partners closely with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure the reliability, scalability, availability, and security of mission-critical technology platforms.

This is an opportunity for a senior infrastructure professional to take ownership of core infrastructure services while contributing to long-term platform strategy, modernization initiatives, and operational excellence.

What You'll Tackle:

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure supporting business-critical applications.
• Administer and optimize Windows Server environments across development, testing, and production.
• Support enterprise virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI), application virtualization, and remote access platforms.
• Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Maintain VMware virtualization environments and enterprise compute platforms.
• Implement identity, authentication, and infrastructure security best practices.
• Collaborate with engineering and application teams on infrastructure deployments and modernization initiatives.
• Monitor infrastructure health, capacity, performance, and availability.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Support automation initiatives that improve operational efficiency and platform reliability.

What You Bring:

• 10 years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience.
• Strong expertise administering Windows Server and Active Directory environments.
• Deep experience supporting Citrix environments, including virtual desktop infrastructure, application delivery, and remote access technologies.
• Experience managing hybrid cloud environments using Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• VMware virtualization experience within enterprise production environments.
• Knowledge of authentication and identity technologies, including Active Directory, SAML, MFA, and Kerberos.
• Experience developing PowerShell scripts and automating infrastructure tasks.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience supporting infrastructure within highly regulated enterprise environments.

Preferred Experience:

• Experience with Citrix Cloud.
• Experience supporting Microsoft Defender or other enterprise endpoint security platforms.
• Knowledge of Azure governance tools and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation frameworks.
• Experience supporting financial services, capital markets, or trading environments.
